Seven Stud Poker players are individually dealt seven cards throughout the course of the hand, but only the best five-card poker hand possible for each player is used to determine the winner The game begins with each player being dealt two cards face down and one card face up, subsequently the players are dealt four more cards, three face up and the fourth one face down. The way the croupier deals the cards, generates up to five betting rounds, which make up a pot, which the players compete for and aim to win. The winner shall be the player or players which hold the highest value hand combination compared to the other players or the player that doesn’t fold or withdraw from the game.
In this variant of poker, players compete against each other. The croupier leads the game and is in charge of collecting a percentage from the jackpot or pots in benefit of the casino.
The game is played with a 52-card deck, with the following values from lowest to highest: Ace, King (K), Queen (Q), Jack (J), 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
To shuffle and begin the game a minimum of 4 players is required. At each table a maximum of 7 seated players can participate.
