Stud Poker is a game where players bet against each other, and where players are individually dealt by the croupier a complete hand of five cards, the first round of cards is dealt face down and the remaining four are dealt face up, individually and in multiple betting rounds. The way the croupier deals the cards, generates up to four betting rounds, which make up a pot, which the players compete for and aim to win. The winner shall be the player or players which hold the highest value hand combination compared to the other players or the player that doesn’t fold or withdraw from the game.
In this poker variant, players compete against each other. The croupier leads the game and is in charge of collecting a percentage from the jackpot or pots in benefit of casino of the jackpot or pots.
The game is played with a 52-card deck, with the following values from lowest to highest: Ace, King (K), Queen (Q), Jack (J), 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2.
To shuffle and begin the game a minimum of 4 players is required. At each table a maximum of 7 seated players can participate.
