Thirty and Forty is a card game in which the croupier forms two columns of cards on a table that will be identified with two separate colors (black and red). The goal is that the individual sum of each column of cards be higher than 30 and lower than 40. The players have to bet on which side of the table (red or black) will return a number closer to 30 and lower than 40, and/or on the color of the first card of the winning column based on its position on the layout (black side or red side of the table). Players may bet on the options color or inverse.
This game offers four betting options for players, i.e.: “RED”, “BLACK”, “COLOR” or “INVERSE”, which are not incompatible.
The game is played with 6 to 8 decks of 52 cards, all with the same design on the back (motif). Every card keeps its face value, from 2 to 10; the Ace counts as 1 and the face cards (Jack, Queen and King) count as 10.
To shuffle and begin the game a minimum of one player is required. On each table the number of players should not affect the proper and smooth progress of the game.
