Roulette is a game of chance in which gamblers place bets against the casino about the pocket number a small ball will land after the horizontal wheel containing it is spun. The landing of this ball will signal the winning number and combination that shall be matched against a betting layout printed on a table.
The roulette is played with a felt-cloth table and a roulette wheel divided in 38 pockets, numbered from 1 to 36, plus one single zero and a double zero. The felt has a bet layout printed (black / red, even /odds, higher / lower) on only one side of the table.
In American Roulette gamblers are assigned a chip color, which they will use throughout the entire game. At the beginning of the game they call the value of their chips, named game chips.
Nonetheless, players may choose to use Money chips instead of colored ones, in which case, they must choose chips of a single identification, and said chips may not be used by another player during the game.
